Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating a Huddin account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use Huddin.

Lodos ("we", "us") provides Huddin ("the Service"). You ("you", "the user") are the person or organization using it.

2. Accounts

You must be 13 or older to use Huddin (16 in jurisdictions where local law requires it). You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account.

You agree not to share an account with another person. Community organizers can invite multiple seats; that is the supported pattern.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Huddin to: send spam, harass other users, distribute malware, infringe on others' intellectual property, host content that is illegal in the user's jurisdiction, or run automated scraping at scale.

Community organizers are responsible for moderating the content their members post. We reserve the right to suspend communities or accounts that materially violate this policy.

4. Content ownership

You own the content you post. You grant Huddin a limited license to host, transmit, and display that content as required to operate the service.

Communities own their collective content — when an organizer exports a community archive, it includes every member's contributions to that community.

5. Voice and video

Voice rooms, meeting rooms, and DM calls are transported through LiveKit. We aim for sub-200ms latency but cannot guarantee it on every network. Recording features (where available) are opt-in per session.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not promise an SLA on Community-tier accounts. Pro and Enterprise plans include specific SLAs as documented in your order.

We may need to take parts of the service offline for maintenance — we'll do this off-peak where possible and announce it in advance for non-trivial outages.

7. Termination

You can cancel any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that materially violate these terms, with notice where practical.

On termination, your data is exportable for 30 days; after that we delete it (subject to retention required by law).

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Huddin is provided "as is" without warranty. Our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
